This is a third-party community project by danielblnc, not DLSS 5 Swapper. Import your own legitimately obtained DLSS DLLs in NeuralHub settings (DLSS 310.9.16 DLLs are accepted). Treat it as a single-player experiment — games with anti-cheat will block the DLL.

DLSS-NR on AMD / NeuralHub runs DLSS 5 Neural Rendering and related features on AMD Radeon RX 9000 (RDNA 4), RX 7000 (RDNA 3), and RX 6000 (RDNA 2) cards. It is a ground-up runtime for AMD GPU architectures — not NVIDIA code, and not a wrapper shipped with DLSS 5 Swapper.

Use NeuralHub as a game mod manager: large files stay centralized, and installed DLLs stay up to date. Join the project Discord for support, early builds, and testing.

Install:

  1. Download and run NeuralHub_v0.8.0_setup.exe from the latest GitHub release.
  2. Open NeuralHub and import your own DLSS DLLs in settings (for example nvngx_dlssnr.dll; DLSS 310.9.16 DLLs are accepted) so they can be reused across games.
  3. Add your game in the mod manager (Game Pass games are supported). Choose the install location if needed.
  4. Start the game, enable the required upscaling / DLSS-related inputs for that title, then open the overlay (default key may be End — check NeuralHub / overlay settings).

What to expect

Alpha 0.8.0 is a modular Neural Rendering Supermod: DLSS-NR, DLSS Ray Reconstruction, DLSS Super Resolution, DLSS Frame Generation (up to x4 MFG), and bundled FSR 4.1.1 — enable what you need from the overlay.

NeuralHub installs mods without copying the large weights file into every game folder. Check GitHub for new releases and known issues (for example Epic Games Launcher support).

In-game overlay

Press End to open. Use Up / Down / Left / Right to adjust, and Enter to toggle.

Options:

  • Mode: inline or async (async is for photo mode only)
  • Tone intensity
  • Structure intensity
  • Skin structure
  • Model selection is planned

Requirements

  • Windows 11 and a supported DirectX 12 game. Game Pass titles are supported; the new Epic Games Launcher is not yet supported.
  • An AMD Radeon RX 9000, RX 7000, or RX 6000 series GPU. RX 6000 (RDNA2) needs the AMD HIP 7.2 runtime from AMD’s HIP SDK page.
  • AMD Adrenalin driver 26.1.1 or later (or the version recommended by the project for your GPU).
  • Your own legitimately obtained DLSS DLLs imported in NeuralHub (DLSS 310.9.16 accepted).
  • Games with anti-cheat will block the DLL. Use this only as a single-player experiment, not on protected online titles.

Updates

Alpha 0.8.0

  • Added DLSS Frame Generation (up to x4 MFG) with HAGS bypass for older drivers/GPUs
  • FSR 4.1.1 upscaling is bundled and no longer depends on your driver
  • RDNA3: DirectX 12 mode, DLSS-SR and DLSS-RR are now supported
  • DLSS 310.9.16 DLLs are now accepted
  • DLSS-NR: new multipass mode (up to 3 passes); about 25% performance improvement on RDNA3
  • NeuralHub: onboarding guide, Game Pass support, manual install location, bug fixes

Alpha 0.7.0

  • Added DLSS Ray Reconstruction, DLSS Super Resolution 4.5, and FSR upscaling
  • Modular Supermod with redesigned overlay; any combination of inputs × outputs
  • New DirectX 12 native mode for smoother playback and fewer interop stalls
  • NeuralHub redesign: centralized large files and a game mod manager installer

Alpha 0.6.0

  • Added support for RX 6000 series (RDNA2); requires AMD HIP 7.2 runtime
  • Multiple fidelity improvements and increased image quality
  • Fixed flicker issues in pre-upscale mode and auto-exposure delay

FAQ

  • Is this a compatibility layer? No. It is a full reimplementation of the neural-network runtime for AMD GPU architectures (HIP kernels, memory layouts, game integration), written from scratch. No NVIDIA code is included or translated at runtime.
  • Is this DLSS 5 Swapper? No. Swapper is a Windows library tool for NVIDIA RTX PCs. DLSS-NR on AMD is a separate community project by danielblnc.

How you can help

Donate if you can — tokens and test GPUs are expensive: Support the project.

Test on RX 7000 / RX 6000 cards or other games, then open a GitHub issue and attach the project log if something goes wrong.

If you have a question, please check the FAQ first. If you still need help, please join the Discord server and ask in the #dlss-5-amd channel.
