A community one-click ReShade setup that installs ReShade with add-on support, the RenoDX DLSS add-on, and updated NVIDIA Streamline / DLSS DLLs next to the game executable.
RenoDX DLSS Installer
Rolling release. The setup EXE is small; it downloads the add-on and Streamline package at install time from the latest GitHub release.
This is a third-party community project by yumlevi, not DLSS 5 Swapper. ReShade is intended for single-player games only and may cause bans in multiplayer. Games with anti-cheat can block injected files.
RenoDX DLSS Installer is a customized ReShade setup. In one click it installs official ReShade 6.8.0 with full add-on support, the RenoDX DLSS add-on, and updated NVIDIA Streamline / DLSS DLLs beside the game executable. It is not bundled with DLSS 5 Swapper.
Install:
- Run RenoDX-DLSS-Setup.exe and pick the game executable. If you pick a launcher by mistake, the setup looks in common folders such as bin, bin\x64, and Binaries\Win64 and corrects the selection.
- The rendering API is detected automatically. The API page appears only if detection fails.
- The setup installs ReShade, then downloads manifest.ini from the repository and installs the add-on and DLL package it points to.
- Neural Rendering starts off by default (StartDisabled=1 in the manifest). Enable it in ReShade after you confirm the add-on loaded.
Download only RenoDX-DLSS-Setup.exe from the latest release. The add-on (renodx-dlss5-v2.5.addon64) and streamline.zip are fetched during setup from the same release, as directed by manifest.ini on the main branch.
How updates work
The installer downloads manifest.ini at install time. Updating the add-on or the Streamline / DLSS DLLs is done by uploading new files to the latest release or editing the manifest — no installer rebuild is required.
Per-game packages can be added as extra manifest sections keyed by executable name, for example [Cyberpunk2077.exe] with its own add-on or DLL URLs.
What gets installed
- Official ReShade 6.8.0 binaries with add-on support.
- The RenoDX DLSS add-on: renodx-dlss5-v2.5.addon64, placed for ReShade to load. Effects go under reshade-shaders\Shaders.
- Updated NVIDIA Streamline / DLSS DLLs from streamline.zip, copied next to the game executable.
- The setup EXE itself is about 4.1 MB. The Streamline package is larger and is downloaded only when you install into a game.
Requirements
- A Windows game and an NVIDIA GPU that can run the Streamline / DLSS files the installer copies.
- A live internet connection during setup so the installer can fetch manifest.ini, the add-on, and streamline.zip.
- Treat this as a single-player experiment. This build of ReShade is intended for single-player games only and may cause bans in multiplayer. Games with anti-cheat can block injected DLLs.
FAQ
- Is this DLSS 5 Swapper? No. Swapper is a Windows library tool that installs and restores DLSS files. RenoDX DLSS Installer is a separate one-click ReShade setup by yumlevi.
- Is this the Multipass route inside Swapper? No. Swapper v2.2.5 can install ShortFuse's RenoDX DLSS Tool as its own Multipass route. This page is yumlevi's standalone installer.
- Do I need to download the add-on or streamline.zip myself? No. Run RenoDX-DLSS-Setup.exe. It downloads those packages at install time.
- Why is Neural Rendering off after install? The current manifest sets StartDisabled=1, so DLSSNR starts disabled. Turn it on in ReShade once the add-on is present.
